Model: Parcinopy

Phase: RAMI IV

Parcinopy is a Monte Carlo forward ray tracing.

It deals with 3D scene (toric or not) described by polygons and discs having Lambertian or not optical properties.

Algorithmic optimizations are : stratified sampling for ray launching from light sources, importance sampling and implicit capture for scattered rays, russian roulett e for unbiased ray termination, and BSP speed-up for the ray casting.
